Job description

We’re seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead development of our online matching business in the UK market.  We specialise in the supply chain around the customer journey, that is, all the products and services you need to acquire, retain, support, understand and delight customers. The role holds responsibility for:

 

·         consultative sales to the “buy-side” (this is like a floating sales role for the industry)

·         establishing referral partnerships with associations; trade media and conferences; suppliers and influencers 

·         driving awareness of the brand and offering in the UK

·         end-to-end sales and promotion of Aboutmatch Events (a free boardroom lunch bringing together a vendor with a room full of potential clients for a presentation)

·         signing up and establishing a strong relationship with suppliers

·         sourcing content from suppliers (white papers, articles etc) to drive lead generation

 

As an experienced business development professional, you will execute strategic sales and marketing plans with a clear focus on new client acquisition

 

Location

England (work from home); ideally located in or near London

Must-have criteria

·         Minimum 3 years’ experience in solution sales or business development 

·         Excellent knowledge of, and connections in, the contact centre / BPO industry

·         Ability to develop instant rapport with clients

·         Enthusiastic & energetic

·         Ability to work autonomously

·         Interested in acquiring new skills and knowledge

·         Enjoys networking and a regular LinkedIn user

 

Flexible hours

4-5 days a week, 6-8 hours a day

Compensation

Retainer + revenue share
